More Than a Roof Foundation is committed to building opportunities for MTR residents to make significant changes in their education, health and community. The Foundation is also investing more in the neighbourhoods that our residents call “home’.
In the spring of 2025, the Foundation is awarding scholarships, bursaries and grants to MTR residents and communities working to build hopeful futures.
Apply for a financial award between December 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025.
- Scholarships
- Highschool graduates: all MTR residents graduating from high school are eligible to receive $500.
- Post-Secondary students: are eligible for funding starting at $500.
- Bursaries are awarded to MTR residents pursuing additional education or job/skills training. Bursaries are also available for families needing funds to send a child to summer camp. Awards start at $250.
- Grants are awarded to MTR residents or MTR communities seeking funds for community-building initiatives including hallways grants, summer student workers, or community events. Awards start at $100.
